About Classes

UnityDefense Training Solutions offers Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED, and Adult First Aid, CPR/AED classes in three different classes. The three types of classes are listed below.  The Active Violence Emergency Response Training  (AVERT) and the Byrna Training Course are only in-person / instructor hands-on courses.  All courses are provided with a digital certification for your convenience.  If you wish to receive a hard copy, there is an additional fee of $7.

Please note: The intended audience for our Adult First Aid, CPR / AED Course is individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers who desire, or are occupationally required, to be trained and certified in adult first aid and/or CPR AED for the adult, child or infant. This program is not designed to meet pediatric first aid training regulatory requirements and should not be used for that purpose.  If your job works with children, you may be required to take the Pediatric First Aid / CPR AED Course.  First aid for children in the early care and education setting requires a more child-specific approach than a standard adult first aid class offers.  Pediatric First Aid is designed with this approach in mind.  Please check with your workplace about what is required before signing up.  If you are a healthcare provider and other public safety professional working in various occupational settings- in and out of hospital- and individuals enrolled in healthcare and public safety career training programs-  BLS (Basic Life Support) is the course for you.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or if you're interested in signing up for a class.  We offer different types of classes to ensure one of them will fit into your schedule.

Traditional Classroom- This is an Instructor-led, in-person training session and is the most common.

Option 2:

Blended Learning (Hybrid Learning)-is a mixed-mode approach that uses self-directed online lessons followed by an in-person instructor lead skills session in a traditional classroom session or via RSV.
